Are there two parallel universes, two timelines colliding ?
Yes and no.
Parallel universes like in hollywood movies, no.
There is only one reality, one creation.
There is a great part of the reality that we miss, that we are unable to see.
This is the spiritual world.
Not something outside of our world, we live in the spiritual world, the material reality being a part, a fraction of that spiritual, which we can't see.
Quantum computers are like reality simulators. It is claimed that they can create and monitor several virtual realities resembling ours, during short periods of time.
Basically when a desired feature is achieved, they can copy and paste in our creation, by particle entanglement.
They open the door to the gods, the bab-el, the bottomless pit, they let unclean angels come here.
Colliding dimensions can be seen as an approximation of what they do.
Here is a way to see it:
At quantum scale, the reality as we know it is the manifestation of a defined set of combinations of quantum states. There are many more possible realities, but you can't see them at your level. They only exist as potential realities at quantum level.
In Genesis 1 the account of creation shows that God creates the world, and then puts order in it by division.
He creates the earth, which is made out of water, deep, dark, void and without shape. He creates light and then separates light from darkness.
Then He creates the firmament that divides the water from above and the waters below it.
Then He gathers the waters below in one place, creating dry land.
He is the potter, bringing order out of disorder.
I hope you can see the parallel with what I just described above.
Quantum physics is a complicated matter, generations of physicists fought over it. The bottom line is that while being imperfect, those physical models invented on a black board work, and people are now able to harness quantum physics for their own purposes, on a large and visible scale.
