Wealth
Deuteronomy 28:11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy womb, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
According to those scriptures, abundance, true riches, are different from worldly wealth.
World's wealth is power, silver and gold, land possessions.
Those values were always around from Babylon to here and now.
This system leads to money, pieces of vile metal which have a supposed value, FIAT money, bitcoins.
Inside this system, idols are very valuable, like paintings, cars, jewels, collections of every kind, houses etc.
Scriptures talk about several men of God, who happened to be rich, like Abraham or Job.
Abraham was a nomad, and his wealth, like Job's wealth, was made of living beings.
Family, children, the fruit of the womb.
Animals, livestock, the fruit of the cattle.
Food, the fruit of the land.
Those are true material riches according to the Lord, and this is logic because the finest piece of technology we see everyday are not smartphones or cars, but the chicken we eat.
A rat is more sophisticated that the finest car.
A rat has a soul. (Genesis 9)
Family, children, animals, quality food, those are true material riches, "natural affections" that the last generation can't recognize.
2 Timothy 3:
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
If one can't recognize material riches, how could he recognize spiritual riches ?
1 Corinthians 3:
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
The New Jerusalem is made out or gold and precious stones.
Gold is molten and reshaped by fire, unlike precious stones which don't change their shape, but their true color sometimes appear only under extreme temperatures.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.
Those are the fruits that we bear when we listen to the Holy Spirit, when we let Him show us where to circumcise our heart. Repentance.
Fruits bear seeds and fertilize those who consume it.
