Psalm 82:1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods
The word translated by God and gods here is the same in Hebrew, Elohim.
Verse 6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
They are children of God, meaning a direct creation, but not men:
Verse 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes
Those gods are not men, they are angels, and disobeying ones.
They are ruling our societies behind the scenes. They judge not as they should, we learn in the Bible that they have a sin, they like to be worshiped by men instead of giving glory to the Eternal.
They are the gods reverred by the pagans, their names are various, they have territorial authorities, called "principalities".
They have a chief over them, whose name can vary. Jesus calls him "Beelzebub" which means "Lord of the flies", flies being the fallen angels. His title was Lucifer, which means "light bearer", and is now satan, in Hebrew "Hasatan", the accuser.
Satan and his gods like to be represented in their former state, and use a positive name, like Abaddon, Apollon, Osiris, Shiva, the dragon, Dagon.
Satan and his gods like also to usurp the titles of God, because they want to be in the place of God, and worshiped like God.
So here comes the fake titles like "All seeing eye" and "Great architect" etc. Satan is not omniscient, and not the creator of this place. He is a liar, and the father of lies.
Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy, so does he and his troops with the work of the Eternal.
Satan cannot create anything, only steal and corrupt.
Satan is bound to God's will, he only does what he is allowed to do. He is granted many rights by our own rebellion toward God, and our sin. Basically the more we reject God, the more satan has a right to mess with our lives.
If we don't sin he will sometimes ask a special permission to mess with us, and God can approve that to test our faith, as seen in the story of Job (chapter 2)
God is rich in mercy, he knows what you are going though, we are learning submission, patience and faith.
Satan's time is short:
"Know ye not that you will judge angels ?"
(Paul quoting Enoch)
